Guidelines for the Layout of Abstracts:

Use the Abstract Form provided (Please download the Abstract Form)

Abstracts should be written in English, in not more than 250 words,  using Word for Windows format (PC version) and the Times New Roman font 11 or 12 point black.

Type the abstract within the frame.  Do not type over the lines. Leave no margin at the top and left-hand sides. Use single line spacing throughout the abstract and do not indent paragraphs.

The body of the abstract should be constructed in clear sections as follows:
Aims,  Methods, Results and Conclusions

The title of the abstract should be in BOLD, CAPITAL LETTERS.

The name(s) of the author(s) should be written in upper and lower case,  preceded by the initials. The name of the author presenting the paper should be in bold and underlined.  Omit titles, degrees, etc.

Name of Department/Hospital or Organization/Town/Country in upper and lower case.

Leave one line blank between the address and the first line of the abstract.

Do not include graphs or tables.  Use references if needed- sparingly.

If the abstract contains a statement regarding a grant or sponsorship, this text should appear on a new line at the abstract. Instructions for Abstract Submission

Abstracts are to be submitted by one of the following two methods:
 
 

Abstracts may be submitted by mail or courier to the Symposium Secretariat, (three printouts) and the floppy disk (3 ½ floppy disc PC format ) labeled with the title and name of authors
Please print the abstract in camera-ready form (ie, laser printing or equivalent quality printing), using the abstract form provided.
Faxed abstracts will not be accepted unless the original is sent by airmail, courier or e-mail to the meeting secretariat.

By e-mail, according to these instructions:
Send the abstract to the e-mail address of the meeting secretariat, attached to the e-mail message as a Microsoft Word document, version 6 or 7. Please ensure that all necessary information appears in the e-mail message: complete name(s) and affiliation of the author(s), full address / fax number /e-mail of the presenting author for return correspondence, preferred presentation (oral or poster).
The dimensions of the entire abstract (approximately 250 words), including the title, author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) should fit into the frame in the abstract form and must not exceed 12 cm in width and 14,5 cm in height (4.7  X 5.7 inches).

All presenters are required to complete  registration procedure, and only abstracts of registered authors will be acepted

Abstracts will be reviewed and notices of  acceptance forwarded to authors.

A number of bedrooms have been reserved at the Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel***** (Symposium Venue) at a special rate of 117 USD for single room accomodation and 133 USD for double room accomodation (including breakfast, taxes and free access to the swimming pool, spa, gym and casino).       In addition, accomodation has been reserved at nearby hotels at a special Symposium rate, which can be obatined by making your reservation through the Symposium Secretariat.  Accomodation will be allocated on a "first-come, first-served basis"
